So far, UFC 186 fight week has been a success, despite getting off to a rough start. With our flight leaving at 7am, I told Adam Zugec that I’d be at his house between 5:30-5:35am. Low and behold, I woke up at 5:35am in a panic as my alarms – yes I set 2 alarms – didn’t go off. Despite the late start, we somehow made it to the airport by 6:14am: exactly 1 min before the flight cutoff. Whew!
No thanks to me, we made the flight!
Smooth flying landed us in Montreal where we went straight to the UFC office to do all the paperwork, get our schedule for the week, and sign posters. For me, the most important part of landing in a fight city is getting that first workout in. Rocking my new Dryworld Kaufman gear, Adam and I had a great session…and if you notice the black eye on Adam…sadly it wasn’t from my huge muscles

Day 2 was all about the media. Starting at 7:30am, I headed to the set of BT Montreal to get prettied up for their morning show. I don’t know why, but for some reason everyone on set thought it was ridiculous that I was carrying around an 8L jug of distilled water…doesn’t everyone pack one around?

Who says 8L is too much water to carry around?
Finally the day concluded with the UFC 186 Media day…but I’ll post those pictures later!
